New information system for the public transport in Lisbon area

Rodoviária de Lisboa, one of the passenger transport companies belonging to Barraqueiro Group, is one of the partners of TransporLis, (http://www.transporlis.sapo.pt), a new site for information regarding all the passenger transport operators in Lisbon Metropolitan area.

This site, based on a geographic system totally build using Portuguese technology, is absolutely new and considered as a pioneer in Portugal and all over Europe, once it optimises the use of several means of transport all together, in Lisbon region.

The information system TransporLis, is issued from a partnership including Rodoviária de Lisboa, Carris, ANA (airports management), Fertagus, CP (Portuguese railway), Metropolitano de Lisboa, Scotturb, Transportes Colectivos do Barreiro, Transportes Sul do Tejo, Transtejo (Ferry's), Vimeca and PT.com, and it aims to improve and give higher flexibility to all the services of these companies, by making available up-to-date information means to the customers, in order to increase and render easier their mobility in all the metropolitan area of Lisbon.
